Students ‘Go Gold’ workshop brings awareness to pediatric cancer.

Students heard from Chai Lifeline volunteer coordinator Stacy Weiner about what the organization does and how people can get involved.

Despite people’s beliefs that her work is depressing, Stacy explained it is actually filled with joy and that that joy of giving is contagious.



Creating hats for young cancer patients



Thursday morning, students were addressed by Dr. David Pelcovitz. He spoke to the girls about true happiness explaining that it develops from the three “F’s”: Friendship, Family and Faith.

The difference between happiness and simcha, he said, is that true simcha comes from finding your inner spark and purpose.
